Hello, I'm new

Hi there,
My name is Carol and I live in Ontario, Canada right now. I'm pg with our fourth child and planning a homebirth. We had a hospital birth with our first two (would that I could do that over!) and we had a homebirth with our last. She was an unnasisted homebirth, not on purpose though. We were planning a homebirth, it's just that being my first natural birth and my third child, things happened WAY faster than we thought they would. Dh was still at work, Mom was on her way (5 1/2 hour trip!) and since I was having back labor and irregular contractions we didn't think it was close enough to the end for the midwives to come. Silly me. Dh got home from work 10 mins. before she made her arrival and he caught her, THEN we called the midwives who couldn't believe we had already had her! It was only 2 hours of active labor.
Anyway, we're doing things different this time around. I'm 19 weeks and due March 2nd.
Just thought I'd introduce myself and see what I could find out here.

Hi! I'm in Ontario too (chatham). We had a hospital birth with our first as well (and really wished I had stayed home after it was all over!!!) and a homebirth with #2. My midwives got there when I was 9 cm (I was second guessing myself too) and she was born w/i 15 minutes of their arrival! We are planning a homebirth again for #3 next month and can't wait! Welcome, and I hope you have a great pg'y and wonderful homebirth!

I currently live in toronto with my partner and 3 kiddos. We are moving to burlington feb1st! and on top of that... I am due March 29th with my 4th and am having a homebirth too! This is my first time around with midwives.

How old are your lil ones?

Our oldest ds is 7, we homeschool and he loves it. Our next dd is 4, then our next dd is 2 and we just found out Tuesday that our newest will be another dd!!!!: Dh is slightly dissapointed, he and ds were hoping for another boy, but as long as she's healthy, that's all that matters. As of now, we're naming her Evangeline Celeste. I can't wait!!!!!

Wow, amazing how fast your 3rd baby came!! I'm also planning a home birth (I had my first in hospital - pitocin, epidural etc. ) so I have no idea how natural labor goes either. Strange having a second baby and not knowing!
