Another MMR question

A lot of friends on other boards are claiming that new studies refute the MMR-autism link and they're getting it for their (soon to be) 1 year olds. How accurate and dependable are the new studies and where can I read them? I'm still not getting it for my kids, btw.

If you want to read actual studies, you'll need to find an institution that can supply copies. I'm a librarian and I can order medical journal articles for patrons through our state university system. A librarian can also help you track down articles about MMR.

For the refutations, once you have the articles, you can probably find them with online searches.

I've been following this for many years. I don't think that anyone has demonstrated the safety of MMR for all children. And if your kid happens to be the one in the MMR not safe category, then what?
