Vaccinated Against Parents'/Child's Wishes

My husband pointed me to this blog post by a guy he follows regularly. My blood pressure got higher and higher with each paragraph.

Vaccination is done in school here in Canada sometimes as well. They've got a big Gardasil campaign going on for all grade 6 (and 7 I believe) girls in Canada right now and it's done in school. In my province, they are also giving others vaccines the boys/girls are "due" for at the same time. We also had a consent form to sign, and I did not sign the form. I called Public Health BEFORE vaccination day and asked about the form and was told I should sign it because they COULD NOT vaccinate without consent (she seemed to think we were only opting out of Gardasil when I wasn't consenting to ANY vaccine). Once she said this, there was no reason to send in the paper if they could NOT vaccinate without it, checking the "no" box was redundant and made me worry that having a paper at all could be confused for consent.

The kids who forgot their consent form at home or had checked "no", were left in the classroom with the teacher while the other kids went to the room where the nurses were vaccinating. So, the nurses had no idea if there even were any kids that hadn't consented. Even so, I was stills scared to send her to school that day for fear someone would make a mistake or a purposeful "mistake" like was made on this girl in the blog.

That doctor didn't even know WHY she didn't consent. Perhaps she had allergies to specific ingredients in that vaccine or a billion other reasons that could have put her more at risk than an average child (and being diabetic maybe she WAS more at risk!). I am SO made for those parents and that girl!

Gardasil is the most ridiculous vaccine right now. I saw commercials all the time, but had no idea it is consider so "important" that its recommended for almost every female. I remember learning a little about HPV in my college immunology class. Its extremely common and harmless most of the time. Funny how something that was here all along all of sudden becomes an epidemic when a vaccine is invented and people need to make money off it.

: So true...a few years from now they'll say it's an 'epidemic' and doctors will claim they saw all these 'horror stories' of people who weren't vaxed and died....or some such crap.

Those parents should file an assault charge against that doctor with the police and sue him. I sure would!!! They have the proof that they didn't want the vax (the consent form) and the girl even said she didn't want it. Don't doctors know what the word 'No' is...printed and verbal?!

They should go after that doc like a rabid wolverine with cleats on.

That is basically true for all vaccines. Just follow the money.

I wonder how many times a day this happens in hospitals with the hep b vax. at least a 13 yr old can tell you. so frightening.

If they attempt to do so, you can legally charge them with "assault with a deadly weapon" and have the full resources of our laws behind you.
