Ultrasound today...

So I just got back...pretty bummed but can't say I'm surprised. According to my LMP of Aug. 28th, the nurse put me at 6w2d...but I ovulated on day 18 so I said I thought I was more like 5 1/2 weeks....anyway...there was a sac and yolk sac, but no fetal pole yet...so I'm going back a week from today...PRAYING to see a baby and heartbeat! This first few weeks are going by soooo slow!

Hugs!!! Don't worry!! I think you are doing fine for how far along you are given your O date!! I bet you will see a beatiful HB in the next couple of weeks!!

That is super-early for a u/s or a heartbeat. Next week will be better!

Karen- Don't worry It's probably too early. I just got back from my ultrasound today at 6 weeks 3 days and they could only see one heartbeat out of 2 babies. The doctor said the other could just be a little behind. If you ovulated late that would make you very early.

The funny thing is my husband's boss told him before he left work to not be surprised if you don't see a heartbeat yet. I guess his daughter went through that and gave birth to a healthy baby.

Are you from the Chicago area? I met a women named Karen with triplet boys. I think she was from the Chicago area.

Mama! Sending you good thoughts and prayers on seeing a heartbeat soon. I agree with others, it's definitely early based on your ovulation date. You'll see your beautiful baby next week.

I am having trouble waiting until the 21st myself... I don't even have an appointment until then. Boo.

At least we should be able to see a heart beat by then? Guess there's a good reason for having to wait. Still, boo.
