I'll start with...
1) pregnancy insomnia
2) hormone changes
3) hating coffee!?! (or other foods)

Even though I enjoyed my pregnancy and didn't suffer much discomfort except for swollen ankles toward the end and the endless trips to the bathroom in the middle of the night, I think I would have relaxed more about my ideal birth scenario and released my attachment to it. My last two months were a struggle with my HCPs and I do believe it effected the outcome; however, the end result is amazing and I have a beautiful baby to show for it so it was well worth the struggle.
So the word that comes to mind is CHILL.
We'll see how I handle baby number two...

I wish I would've known how dumb I'd get! I totally forgot how to change my mood here and I've changed it twice and I'm postpartum for goodness sakes! I just hope I get some IQ points back!

I wish i'd known that contractions would be just as painful as my worst period cramps. They weren't more painful... but my worst period cramps were excruciating... and made me vomit. I think I would have been able to prepare better. Maybe have taken that hypnobabies course. I'm so doing that next time. No freakin way am I just relying on breathing and visualization... that only barely worked.

How wonderful and heavenly a homebirth is. I wished i would of had my ohter babies at home. Standing up and walking around through contractions seemed to help with the intensity and actually was less painful for me. I was able to bounce back between contractions and talk with my support system/friends in active labor. If we have any more babies i will search for that inner peace and possibly go for a UC.

That I had no reason to doubt my homebirth choice.

To run away from my OB at the first red flag.

How bad morning sickness can really be and that it isn't all in your head.
