Weird smelling husband!

Oh no!! This happened with my first pregnancy for a few weeks where the smell of my husband (and normally I don't notice him having any odor at all) started grossing me out. And tonight we were watching a movie and he is starting to smell the same way to me as last time. This is so weird!! Has anyone else had anything like this???

I'm not pregnant but when I saw your title I just to look because it reminded me of my experience. My dh smelled off to me with my second pregnancy but not my first. I don't know why. It lessened during towards the end and went away by the time ds was born.

Yes, dh has a funky smell to me. Actually yesterday when I was snuggling ds his breath was making me a little sick too. I usually love his smells.

OMG! I am laughing my butt off right now!!! I don't think my DH smells icky, but I did realize that my superhuman smelling abilities have definately kicked in already when last night I thought the library book my DS checked out smelled like old gym socks!

Ha! This happened to me during my first pregnancy as well. My husband made me sick. I couldn't even be 2 feet from him and his smell turned me off. It ended with the birth of my DD.

DH's smelly breath has been one of my first systems with every pregnancy.

It is so strange what the body does during pregnancy. Our surro is uber sensitive to smells right now and unfortch can't even stand the scent of her 2 y.o. DD. I really hope it passes soon for her!

Perhaps the pregnant nose is so sensitive that moms won't mind the smell of diaper changes once the baby comes out! Lol.

Yes, last pregnancy. My husband had to switch deodorants and body soap several times before we found the ones I could tolerate. I'm hoping it doesn't happen this time around!

Yes!

And it starts really early for me. DH even smelled bad during the few short days of my chemical pregnancies. It's not his breath per se, it's just his mouth area in general, even with closed lips. It ends with the birth and luckily DH thinks it's kind of funny.

DH doesn't wear deodorant or any perfumed substances and thankfully has no body odor. Everything else in my house stinks though, including my kids despite their daily baths.

This is too funny. In hind sight, one of my very first symptoms was that I could smell dh feet from across the couch. They don't usually stink.

maybe he needs to take some probiotics! heheh!

My husband is very stinky today too... this didn't happen last time!! Poor guy

not in your DDC but I am glad I'm not alone! DH's feet have been extra stinky recently he even got new shoes and socks I thought that would fix the problem and it didn't. Good to know it will pass!

JacquelineR- Your blog is awesome! We think our DD is allergic or sensitive to dairy and that Ranch Dressing recipe looks awesome!!! I can't wait to try it.

Thanks. It's really nothing special. Kathy's blog is so much more advanced than mine and she has some really awesome recipes on there. Menomena's blog is really good too. Both of them are listed on the right hand side of my blog page. You might be interested in checking out the Allergen free recipes sticky in the Allergies forum too.
