Love of sewing

All I want to do is sew now. I had to tear myself away from the machine so I could help tidy before guests arrive. I don't want to be rude but god, how can I manage a guest over for three days and not be at my sewing machine?!

Is this what addiction feels like? Or is it just love of sewing? :

Yup. I'm currently in what I call "what can I make now?!" mode. I switch between knitting and sewing. Right now I can think of nothing better than a few days to myself where I can sew all day!

Gosh, my idea of a vacation is time to myself to sit and sew all day, without other everyday 'demands'.
