DH Traveling Abroad--should we be concerned?

My DH is leaving on Monday for Honduras. This is a business trip and came up within the past few weeks. Our LOs (2 yrs.) have had no vaccines. I hadn't even thought about the possibility of him picking something up down there until now. He was vaccinated as a child but has not had any boosters in the last 10-20 yrs. nor did he get any shots specific to this trip. I doubt anyone knows specifically about Honduras but I guess I'm just looking for some reassurance. I'm assuming if there were certain prevelant diseases doen there that someone would have suggested getting shots before going...?

Personally I would not get vaccinated no matter where in the world I traveled. Even if diseases there are rampant. I just don't believe that injecting some neurotoxins, heavy metals, foreign DNA would make me healthy. Quite to the contrary, if there are a lot of diseases (and I know nothing about Honduras) I believe that would weaken me and give the diseases more of a chance.

Your body is the same no matter where you go. You are your own ecosystem. All you have to do is take care of that. Eat healthy, drink clean water, get enough sleep, live healthy, and rely on your immune system.
