: Oh well. I'm struggling with fatigue but DH has been super. He's done all the work around the house, all the cooking, and shopping, and done a huge amount of playing with DD. I've been a lump on the couch or up in bed snoozing. Heh.
Like a few of you, I'm starting to struggle a bit with pregnancy sickness. It seems to hit me late evenings and that makes sharing the bed with DD a challenge. She's a wriggler and an ear fondler (mine, of course!) and it makes me mighty queasy. I'm working on a way to break her of that habit and trying to come up with ways to encourage her into her big girl bed. Suggestions would be welcome!
Dh has been doing everything here too. I did not even get out of bed until 2 today!
I have a harder time at night too, but I am going to try something new tonight. I am not going to snack before bed because after that is when I feel super sick. I cannot tell if I feel sick from every snack I eat, or if it is pregnancy related.
I would ease your dd out if she does not want to go into a bed on her own. Start with you or dh in her bed. Then stay with her until she falls asleep a few nights, then gradually over a month or so leave the room right before she falls asleep, then before she falls asleep, but not right as you tuck her in (give her 10 minutes of snuggle time after a book). If that will not work at all, you can try putting a sleeping bag with air mattress on your floor next to your bed. You can keep her there as long as you like. If you do scenario one I would expect to have to go to her in the middle of the night, or have a sleeping arrangement for her in your room too. The transition could take a while. Good luck. Ds is still in our bed, and I think we will get a humanity pillow (or something similar different brand) when we have the baby. I will probably keep ds between dh and me, and put the baby between me and the pillow.
I meant to also say that I feel like my stomach is stretching so much today.
