doll swing, ribbon ring, cape, felted bowl

I just wanted to share some little things I made recently for my son (2 yrs). I'm an instant-gratification kind of girl, so all of these are very simple and can be made during one naptime

A doll swing:

Ribbon ring:

Dress up cape:

A felt cupcake, bracelet, and bowl (the bowl took a few naps...)

Oh, I adore that doll swing! I'm making a doll for ds2 for XMas, and now he's going to have to get a doll swing too. You did a lovely job on everything.

Thank you

My library didn't have it either - I usually request books like this on interlibrary loan. It takes a few weeks to get, but they can get just about anything for you. My library actually purchased this book from my request. Or sometimes they'll get it from another library for you.

Yeah - when i checked "my" library - the webpage actually can check for any library my home library can get books from. We even have it down to a 1 card for any library in our system... so if its not in there (its like, 50 libraries or something) then no can do

i WAS able to get The Creative Family that i also saw on you blog - and i LOVE it 9enough so, i want to buy it - maybe i'll just see if i can swing buying both - LOL)

Oh ok, gotcha Maybe you can "request" that they buy it for the library then? I've been requesting a lot of books lately and I think my library is building quite the collection of waldorf and crafty books thanks to me, haha.

i'll be looking into it - that's for sure... gotta wait till Tuesday - darn holiday has the library closed (i dont get it - kids are out of school - so let's close the library! UGH!)

ooohh - love the ring ribbon - i gotta see if i can find some handles around here

Today I found a set of 2 purse rings for $3.50 at JoAnn Fabrics. They were on sale, regular price $5. They are smooth, and they say "natural cane."

Next time, I am going to look for some wide ribbon for sale by the yard.

Your work is beautiful, mama!! I may have to copy the ribbon ring. What a fabulous and simple gift it would make.:

Wow... I am impressed. And your little play area looks straight out of a magazine! Love it!

I want to make some of the ribbon rings, but cannot find any handles! I don't want plastic, so where could I get some? I don't have a Joann's around here, and I didn't see any at the online Joann's either.

Ive bookmarked your blog

Wow! So beautiful!! I am definitely going to make some ribbon rings for my son. I have some left over rings for ring slings and a ton of ribbon, so I won't even have to buy anything! Yippee!!
