Ds is 2.5 & has not had any vaxes. His doctor & I have had a vax schedule written up since his birth in which we wrote to start vaxing after age 2. I don't think I ever intended to vax him - at least, the thought of it always turned my stomach since I know that his immune system is strong & intact.
SO, exdp & I are headed towards court for custody & he always threatens with the vax issue. I feel strongly about not vaxing but I feel more strongly about keeping my children.
There are vaxes I just won't do, like varicella, Hep. B, Prevnar, etc.
What are the illnesses that most uneducated people fear? Polio, measles? I am aware of the dangers of MMR & won't do that & wonder if measles alone is any less dangerous - or is it just unknown? I figure tetanus is a big concern for the general public, not in the sense of outbreak, obviously, but as a danger to an individual. So that would mean DTaP.
I will absolutely space whatever he gets far apart & have a revised vax schedule to go along.
Which do you feel are the most important in the eyes of the general public or a judge?

Now, can anyone give me a list of vaxes that have had really bad adverse reactions & have been pulled in the last decade or so? Like rotavirus & the Lyme vaccine - what else?
