Knit or Crochet? - Page 2

I find knitting a lot easier to learn then crochet. I have tried to crochet off and on for about 10 years and have never really gotten the hang of it. I have been knitting for about 2 months now and already feel more confident with it. I have heard the same thing that was said earlier that if you can't figure out one then try the other and it may come better to you. My mother is the opposite of me. She can crochet up a storm, but gets totally lost when trying to knit.
As far as places to learn. I watched some youtube videos and got a teen knitting book from my local library.

wow, i find this thread really interesting. it never occurred to me that anyone could find knitting easier than crochet!

i find crochet so much easier and faster. knitting exhausts me, so far. i like the pillow that i made, and i plan on trying more projects eventually, but my next be project will be crochet, for a rest!

I found crochet easier than knitting. However, I also found geometry easier than algebra. Hmm - since I really loved trignometry, I wonder if that means I'm ultimately best at tatting?

I only know how to knit and not great, but I was able to teach myself for the most part. I personally don't really like the look of crochet so I've never had a desire to crochet.

I only know how to crochet, but I've been told that with crochet it is easier to hide mistakes.
