I think I just peed myself!

I was standing in my kitchen drinking a glass of water when I felt a liquid warmth come out of me. I went into the bathroom and had to pee once on the toilet and there was a round, very wet patch on my undies. Didn't smell like pee... but what else could it be? Nothing since.

Tell me it's more likely I pissed myself, even though that's totally embarrassing, than my water leaked a bit?!

It's possible and I've done it but there's about just as good a chance that your water broke. ELV's!!!!

EEEK! So, if my midwives are coming any minute for my prenatal.. should I mention it to them? Haven't had anything else happen since.

Let 'em know. They might be able to do a litmus test to see if it's fluid or pizzle.

Well, nothing since the one time. I told my midwives and they went "Are you sure it's pee?" Of course I'm not, but they didn't to a litmus test and just said to let them know if it happens again or I start to get contractions. I also got a good bit of snotty-what-I-think-is-plug when wiping a bit ago. But I've been dry for an hour and a half... even through them palpating the belly and moving baby around, so I'm thinking it must have been pee. But geez, how embarrassing, since I wasn't even moving around when it happened!

When my water broke, my very first thought was "Dang it, I peed myself AGAIN!" But then it kept coming...and coming...and coming. If it's your water, it will probably keep leaking. Have those mw's check it, and keep us posted!!!

ugh.. been there.... might be time for some extra kegels... thus far in my PG's those incidents were all pee (blush) ..... my water breaking has always been a 'I know what just happened' thing.....

Ugh! That has happened to me way too many times lately. At least in your case it might be your water breaking. For me it always happens after I sneeze or cough. (Well, not every time I sneeze, but enough that I tighten everything up before hand if I have the chance.)

So a little bit of pink tinge to CM last night, but no contrx to speak of (a few BH over night). My doula suggested it might have been really watery CM too.

I've got some Ph paper now, so if it happens again I'll be testing it! But at this point... I'm convinced it wasn't my water. Oh well, just a little excitement for the night!

This is how my labor started and I told everyone around me I was just "peeing myself" for 3 days. Finally when I started feeling some light contractions I admitted what was really going on. Not saying it has to be labor with you . . . I had a hospital birth so, I think for me, it was a blessing in disguise that I didn't really realize it for 3 days - When I got to the hospital a nice and smart nurse sort of "fudged" the three day thing and wrote that the "peeing" had just started.

The other night I woke up and felt a lil liquid running down my leg and it happened again when I rolled over. I got excited and thought my water was leaking. But then I got up and peed and nothing more leaked out. I think I just had to pee really bad and a little was getting squeezed out. Oh the joys of late pregnancy!

I felt a warm liquid when my water broke with DD, but I knew it wasn't pee. Mine did keep trickling out though little by little. I'd be careful just in case it was your water (nothing going up there, etc), but like you said it could have been mucus. I've had that happen once in this pg a couple weeks ago and it really surprised me!

I would certainly not assume it wasn't fluid, sometimes the sac can seal itself or baby's head can block the hole or whatever, not everyone gushes or leaks constantly. If you think it's amniotic fluid be sure to keep things out of there, watch your temp & take extra vitamin c!
