Conway, NH + Kennebunkport, ME vacation

Hi, all. My little family is traveling your way next week. We will be in NH from Wed-Sun and then ME from Sun-Wed. Any cool things going on for our 2.5 year old daughter?

We're pretty comfortable finding things in Conway since my husband's family is from there, but this is the first time we're trekking over to Kennebunkport (we've done Northern ME a few times). Any great restaurants? Any to avoid?

We're willing to drive a reasonable amount to do activities (my husband is interested in Kittery for a bit of shopping).

Pumpkin People

In Jackson, NH there are pumpkin people all around and two years ago they were VERY CREATIVE. My 18 month old loved it. You might be able to google a calendar for the Maine Seacoast to see what's happening in Kennebunk.

Hi there. I live in Wells which is the town over from Kennebunkport. I have a 3 year old son so I can give you some ideas of things to do!

*Rachel Carson Wildlife Preserve- this is on the Kennebunk/Wells town line. Its a nature walk and really pretty. My little guy just loves going there.
*Ogunquitfest- Ogunquit is right next to Wells. They are having this festival on the 24th-26th. I think that is when you will be nearby. Its a ton of fun for kids. They do a scarecrow contest,costume parade,etc.
*Federal Jacks-great casual resturant/brew pub. They have yummy food!
*There is an awesome playground that you can walk to from Kennebunk center. There is a wonderful bakery/coffee shop that serves sandwiches and soup that you can walk to the playground from.
*Goose Rocks Beach in Cape Porpoise is the most beautiful beach with sand dunes.
