Sorry I don't know of specific videos, I did want to point out you won't find anything Bradley specific most likely; Bradley Method folks are pretty adamant 12 weeks of interactive classes is the way to go to most effectively learn info and practice skills. If you find a class you can fit in your schedule but can't afford it many instructors will decrease the price on request. Also there are Lamaze videos out there but I haven't seen them so I can't give a recommendation.

Well if you are interested at all in hypnosis, HypnoBabies has a home course. I really liked it.

Actually, my Bradley class was only 3 weekends - meeting Sat & Sun for 3 hours each of the weekends. Just DH & I + our instructor.

Greater Baltimore Yoga Center in Timonium, MD is where it was held in case you're in this area.

There are 2 good bradley books out there. Not sure of any videos though.

I have to say that I'm disturbed that someone is holding such a short version of Bradley classes. I am hoping that this was a special circumstance case.

Bradley is really worth the time and effort. It's not a "trick" that can be learned via video. It's an entire approach to labor and birth.

It's about practicing good nutrition, about exercise, relaxation, knowing how your body works and how to work with it to avoid unecessary pain. It's about comfort measures, rehearsals, positive communications with your birth team. It's about how to handle variations and complications if they arise. It's about breastfeeding, infant care. In my opinion-- one of the most important things that I teach is consumerism. How to make good informed choices that are right for you. How to get true informed consent.

You can't get that in a video-- you know?
