anyone knit pants for EC?

I'm not sure which would be a better forum to ask this question, but I have a 3-month-old (nearly 4) who is ECed but in cloth without covers most of the time. We live in Edmonton and it is going to get cold very soon:. I don't want my baby's legs to be cold in the house and he's kinda chubby so babylegs seem a little tight on him. I'm thinking of knitting a wool soaker or pants, but I've never done anything like that. I'd love to knit crotchless pants, if there is such a thing. Any crafty moms BTDT?

Babylegs or Hugalugs would work well. That's what I am and will be using!

You could make your own out of recycled sweater arms, adult socks with the feet cut out or buy brand name ones online. My mom just knit my little one some. They're cute! (don't stay up the greatest, but don't tell her).

The EC Store sells crotchless wool leggings: http://www.theecstore.com/index.php?...oducts_id=1138 Unfortunately, it looks like they only have large in stock right now

thank you for your suggestions! Sorry for the late response - we've been busy. I do have some babylegs, but baby's legs are so chubby they leave red marks. I like the idea of the leggins. I might be able to figure out how to make some out of a recycled sweater.... great ideas
