My daughter is in first grade right now (local public school), and I am beginning to seriously explore homeschooling options. (oh the irony as I have a masters degree in education and was a high school teacher before my children were born!!!)
First, I am wondering if there are any homeschooling groups in central Maine, or any lists etc for Maine in general? I'm in the Augusta area, if that helps.
I also have a 3 year old son, who I'll continue to have go through a local private nursery school (that I love) this year/next and probably also kindergarten at the public school. But then I'd plan to work with him at home too.
I would appreciate any resources or suggestions. Thanks!!!!
