Good morning mamas!! :

Its early and I'm up b/c my water broke about an hour ago. I've been contracting seriously since about 2ish this am but it was the warm puddle of fluid I was lying in that woke me up.

I'm gonna try to get in a little more rest before things really pick up but in case I don't get back on MDC later, I wanted to wish everyone a happy Wednesday of gestating, birthing, or baby snuggling!

Hope your labor goes smooth!!

Not much going on here today. Picture day at Nathan's preschool. Getting a pedicure. Taking a walk to try to hurry this little guy out.

DH did point out NONE of the boys like to get up ( or out early ) so why would this one be different.

AAM Feeling pretty good this morning. I was really grumpy last night b/c my computer was acting up. DH has been sweet in his own grumpy way - he kept fussing at me and telling me to relax and let him look at it so I wouldn't be stressing out with the baby so close. Admission: I'm a total geek and want to put a Linux operating system on my laptop along with Windows... DH told me please please PLEASE wait until the baby comes so if something goes wrong I won't be stressed before the baby. And he told the kids he'd better not hear any complaining from them about Mama getting to eat all day long (I have to graze constantly since my tummy fills up so fast) because they're not growing babies. LOL. They're bottomless pits and the puppy dog eyes (even with 3 HUGE meals and 2 snacks!) over my "extra" snacks were starting to get to me I like that he's feeling so protective over me right now and it helps me to realize I'm not depriving them if I don't feed the kids every single time I eat at this point

Anyways, not much going on with me here, just babbling

Yep, this is it. Tons more fluid leakage, strong ctx about 4 min apart, bloody show. We just called our doula and my friend fron RN school is on her way. Will probably call the mw shortly.

As for me, the full moon did nothing. I still have quite a few things to do (it seems every day I think of more things that I want done first, haha!) and so we wait some more

YAY Ashley!!!! We will be stalking the board waiting for an announcement! ELV's to you!!!!!

Well I had a mw appt yesterday and everything is status quo. I had a vag check and I am 2 cm dilated, but my cervix is still high, long, and posterior. And I haven't been having many BH ctx so I know I am probably at least a week away from labor. And I'm ok with that. All my kids were late. But the good news is, the babe is LOA and not posterior anymore. And head is engaged so hopefully it will stay put and not flip around again. I've been doing squats and climbing stairs to encourage lo to stay the way it is.

this is ashley's doula. she had the baby.




just kidding. she's on the birth ball laboring away. babe is low and we're talking about calling the mw soon. she is doing fabulous.

So....I think this might be it! I woke up at 7:25 to a small gush. I was really questioning if it was my water or not, but I'm pretty sure it was. It was enough to trickle down my legs, but I haven't really had much since. But I am feeling crampy and have my low back ache. When I get up to move around and clean I am definately having contractions. So, we'll see what happens! I've talked with my MW and she just wants me to stay in touch as they are really afraid I'm going to go fast since I'm already 4 cm and if nothing is going on since noon to come on in for a check.

*Sigh* I hate this waiting game. I'm just so afraid to get excited and it not be it. But there is another contraction, so I'm pretty sure this is it.

all of you mommas in labor are making me so anxious I was really hoping that the full moon would bring on labor for some of us!!!! Go ladies Go!!!!

I had contractions last night that were super far apart (about 15 minutes), but they tapered off by morning Potentially good news--acupuncture "induction" this evening at 5:45! DH (and the rest of the family) really has his hopes up that this will be it...we'll see!

Good luck to all the mamas in labor! :

My home visit was canceled yesterday due to another mama giving birth; hopefully it can be rescheduled soon since I'm at 38+4 today. I'm not super stressed because the mw has been here for my DS before although her assistant never has, but I'd still like it to happen.

As for me, I still feel like I have too much to do to get ready for this baby. I need to get a car seat figured out since our Marathon has something broken on it (need to order replacement). A friend of mine offered me her infant seat so maybe I'll call her this morning to see if she can bring it to playgroup today; I do need to get that squared away soon. Luckily we're having a hb so we don't need it right away. I need to wash diapers, double check my hb supplies, make the list of phone numbers/directions to hospital for our fridge, and more I can't think of right now, ugh. All that and try to keep on top of the regular stuff at home.

I guess I should go do some of that instead of being on MDC!

I am confused by the contractions I am having right now - they are like nothing I've had before (in so far as I can finally see where contractions would be painful, rather than just a little tight), are reliably 10 minutes apart - but have been since 11:00 last night. They are accompanied by back pain that I haven't felt before - that's what really hurts - and also pelvic pressure. I'm not sure if this early stage labor or some new form of BH. Any ideas?

Yay for the mommy's having babies!! WOOT! *glares with jealousy, lol*

Another pregnant day here. I wish it was an unpregnant one, he-he. Gosh I'm so ready to be a mommy again! 6 days til my EDD. Have a feeling I'm gonna go overdue *sighs* Oh well, guess I better enjoy my fatness and the excuses to eat whatever I want, lol. Hmm... I want a soda though. I know, I know... bad Mommy! *smacks self on hand* But OOH! It sounds soo good right now.

Anywho, yeah, can you tell I have nothing exciting to say? Hope you ladies have a wondermous day! Sending lots of labor vibes to all of you who want/need em!! ((hugs))

Yeah for Momma's in labor!!! ELVs your way!!!! :: Everytime I got up last night to pee and looked at the big full moon I wondered if any of us were laboring away.

Nothing happening on this front. Got a lot of knitting done yesterday and will probably do that more today. Spending more time laying on my birth ball too to try and encourage babe to LOA. My tummy feels SORE, babe must still be growing and stretching me out.

I can't believe I'll be 39 weeks on Friday. to those who have made it to their due dates and/or have gone over and have remained sane!!!

That sounds like early labor to me :

And your due date is Friday - so it would be right on schedule!
