My friend sent me this article this morning and it made me so mad!

They state that because of Purified Water & Vaccines we live 30 yrs longer now, what a bunch of bullsh*^! They forgot to mention that Public health, Sewage and Nutrition played a key role in that as well. Not to mention all those diseases a century ago were on their way out long before vaccines came along because of those that I just mentioned.

2nd - The Hannah lawsuit situation just reinforces the idea that children need to be screened before injected, the herd theory does not work, not every one is the same and reactions like fever, vomiting, headaches should not be acceptable as normal reactions.

3rd - The fact that we are ingesting all this aluminum through food, dental fillings etc sux! However when we ingest it our liver is helping break it down, when we have it injected there is no filter for it! In the article they state the levels are ok for healthy kids, so I should assume no sick kid is ever given a vax then! The more vaccines you get the harder it will be on an immature digestive system. We are recommended to not give babies food for that very fact but injecting them with chemicals it quite all right I guess

4th - The measles outbreak thing is so absurd that they blame it on the unvaxed kids. If I was a parent whose kid was vaxed and they got Measles I would be mad at the drug company who made the shot that did not protect my child not the unvaxed kids. Vaccines protect from the symptoms not the disease. Most likely the unvaxed kids got the disease from the vaxed kids though shedding a live virus! My boss got a physical the pther day and was raving about how they gave him a tetnus and flu shot and the first thing that came to mind was stay away from me and don't touch anything near my desk, and now he is sick!

Man I am mad Parenting Mag would print this garbage! it makes me crazy when they try to sugar coat things to keep Pfizer in business!

And one last rant before I go, why would a baby a few hours old need a Hep B shot anyways

There is absolutley no proof of this. I could take almost every statement from this article and destroy it, but I'll stick with this one because it is the first quoted "fact."

If you look at life expectancy from the past 150 years you don't see what Offit is talking about. As a matter of fact, you see something very different, if you believe vaccines are making us live longer. This is the BIG argument from the pro-vax side.

White males and females had a life expectancy jump of 10 years from 1850 - 1900 with no vaccination, unless you were a native American getting poked with smallpox. From 1900 - 1950 huge jumps in life expectancy for all categories, including 26 years for non-white males, during a time with very, very, very little vaccination (if any at all, especially for non-white males). After vaccines started to flood the market really in the 60's, 70's and 80's the LIFE EXPECTANCY GROWTH NUMBERS SLOW WAY DOWN. This is the fact. For example, if you are a white female, your life expectancy has jumped a whopping 6 years in the past 45 years. Prior to mass vaccination during the previous 50 years, white females jumped up 20 years in life expactancy. I think white females should be pretty upset that their life expectancy growth has slowed down so dramatically since mass vaccines came around.

The people who are old now? They had very few vaccines.

This is the exact same ridiculous comment the pro-vax believers make about the so-called cervical cancer vaccine. First of all, it isn't a cancer vaccine, but secondly they can't say it prevents cancer. They will not know that for another few decades when all these little girls they've shot up either do or don't get cervical cancer. How can they say it prevents cancer when cervical cancer doesn't happen until later in life and this shot is given to young girls and the shot just came out?

This is why I can only read so much pro-vax stuff at one time. It is so full of la-la land information I feel like I'm hanging out with Alice in her Wonderland.
