They may be higher on price but I doubt any of the cheap places can come close to their quality. So for really special shoots and for paid prints to sell, I'd go with them. You'll be building the price of the print into the sale so I wouldn't skimp on that one!
This is from their price guide. And they have LOTS of different sizes to choose from, and types of finish. But a 4x6 lustre/glossy is .70; a 5x7 is 1.10, an 8x10 is 2.10; an 8x12 is 3.60. So this is much more than the snapfish and the like, but the quality is far superior.
Thanks. I haven't sold any prints yet, just vintage stuff. That price for 8x10 is cheaper than the other sites I've tried so far most are 2.99 plus shipping. Snapfish rated highest in a couple different reviews so I'm trying it out now. I wish the WCC website was easier to use.

Hi! I have a Canon XT and while I am passionate about photography, I am a SAHM and do it for myself pretty much.

I also have a blog with tips/tutorials/free actions and tutorials for Photoshop and Photoshop Elements if anyone is interested: http://www.coffeeteaphotography.blogspot.com/ .

Well I got some prints back from snapfish and I am extremely happy with them. The color and quality is so much better than the local professional place I had tried first. They were here in less than 5 days too. If I could figure out the whcc I would try them lol.

I've been doing some black and white that is really making me happy.

Oh, I'm so glad to find you guys! I took a photography class back in high school (before the mass advent of DSLRs - loved the dark room!), and have more or less been hooked ever since. I just bought my first DSLR back in...early summer, I believe. I have a Nikon D80, and am slowly aquiring lenses (seriously expensive addiction).

I just looked at all the photos, and they are all beautiful! I loved the old hospital, the peacock, the grainy photos... I like a lot of the editing on most of the photos, too. Great job everyone! I'm inspired.

Here's my flickr. Still learning...I just figured out manual a few days ago, and am now confident enough to stay there all the time (now I'm slightly annoyed by the other settings, lol). I'm still learning the artistic side of photography, and trying to develop an eye for great shots in places I would have never thought of.

Also, wanted to pass along a free photo editor you can download. I discovered this recommended on flickr as a replacement for photoshop (not sure how they compare, but it's better than nothing). www.gimp.org

Oh yes, and the maternity/birth/breastfeeding/child photography? Simply amazing. That's something that I am very interested in doing at some point in the future. Beautiful work.
