Where to find empty gift baskets?

I am thinking about making gift baskets for Xmas presents, and wonder where to buy them??

Well, it depends on how much you want to spend, and if you care if they are new or not. If you are really into going green and recycling, thrift stores tend to have LOTS of baskets for cheap. My son picked out the prettiest little bark basket from the salvation army to hold my birthday gift this year. I noticed they had quite a few in the dollar tree too. I buy sturdier baskets for storage when they go 50% (or use the coupon) at Joanns & Michaels. You can get really pretty matching sets there.

Yeah, our local thrift store has like HUNDREDS of them for $1 or even 50 cents each.

Yep, our local thrift store sells them for $1, and if it hasn't sold in a month, it goes to the front for free!

Thrift stores! I never buy them anywhere else now. Practically brand new and often less than a dollar...can't beat that!

We did the same last year and bought half a dozen fabulous baskets from Value Village!

We also used a nice colander (from Ikea) to use as one of the baskets. It was greatly appreciated by the receiver!

I second Freecycle, I gave away several last year. I'm sure someone will have them for free
