What to do in Atlantic City besides gamble?

I'm in MD. My fiance and I are taking a mid week trip to Atlantic city because we've never been there before and got the hotel part free!
However, we realized last night alot of stuff is probably closed unless its a casino because we're going Tues-Thurs the week of Halloween.
So is there anything to do in the area besides gamble? We're ok with spending some $ bc this is our last trip just the two of us as Batman is due next month. We like malls to wander in, and my fiance LOVES arcades. Also if there are any crunchy stores for either baby or family, I'd be interested. Good restuarant recommends, etc., are also welcome.

go to the spa and have drinks by the pool at the fab new chelsea hotel!!!!

btw if youre staying there they will also set you up by teh beach with an umbrella and bring you drinks.

Ooo, that sounds fun!
I forgot to mention we're uber night owls, so nothing is open too late for us. Not kidding- DP goes to bed around 5-8am.
We're staying at the Wyndham.

Well, you can always go see shows at the casinos--there's entertainment there beyond gambling! Of course, they're crazy expensive (we always go to see shows in Philly instead...)

THere's always the aquarium, Lucy the Elephant in Margate, The light house in Absecon, and loads of other stuff. The boardwalk is fun all the time, and there used to be an arcade there. A place I love is wheaton village, which is not too far from AC. I am trying to think of the place we go to for crabs... I think it is something like "joe's crab shack" or maybe just "the crab shack".

I was raised right down there and my mother still lives in the area. I will have to call my mother and ask her where we go to eat when we go to visit!

I wouldn't have ever thought of the aquarium, what a fun idea! And that mall is so out of our price range, but DP loves to walk through malls, especially ones with stores that we'll never buy anything from (like the Luis Vutton store, lol).
We're hoping to hit up a Sonic Drive in or two on the way to/from (both? since we don't have those in MD and the baby (ok, mommy) really likes strawberry limeades.

Sigh, looks like the trip isn't going to happen, unless baby show up in the next few days. I got put on bed rest Monday and had to be hospitalized overnight for a huge spike in my BP. Feeling pretty bummed At least they let me come home to rest until Batman is born.
