Hep A vax

Can someone point me to info on it? "Ingredients" for it, adverse effects and so forth.
Apparently it's now being enforced in Oregon for preschool entrance (started Fall 2008) and I will, at some point, be forced to give it to ds2 and any other children we have after him. : I can't claim religious exemption (since I've already started vaxing) and won't be given medical exemption.

I just thought I would chime in that you CAN claim religious exemption whenever you want. You would just offer the exemption letter and leave the vax info blank on the medical form.

A public school would have to accept that as well as any school receiving any federal funding.

Many selective vaxers do this in order to maintain control and privacy of which vaccines they think not worth risking.

Yup, you can find religion at any time.

You're not allowed to vaccinate after you get your religious exemption (or risk losing the exemption if they find out, I mean), so you could still be okay.

this covers some of the basic info you were after--the second link is the first link on the first link now that I've got you totally confused...

I just found out that I can't claim any exemptions because I'm still in the immigration process. Any immigrants (and their children, apparently) are required to be fully up to date on vaccinations.

ETA: I knew that I and ds1 were required to be up to date, but I wasn't informed that any children born during the "waiting period" are also required to be immunized.
