I think this is great news as well, more choice for more women.

I am a MCU student in Alberta. Sadly, I think it will still take some time to get midwives all over the province, many parts of BC don`t have midwives.

yep. i think that actually you have a decent chance of getting a midwife in ft.mac as well as some of the larger places like red deer or grand prairie. besides myself, there will be another midwife in llb in 4 years as she will be graduated from trois rivieres by then but honestly i think attracting midwives to rural areas will be very hard.
