Wow!!!Finally!!Our newest addition! UPDATED w/ birth story and pix!

i would like to announce that our son was born after only 5 hours of labor at 5am this morning (10/17). it was very intense but so nice, as i allowed my body to birth him w/o pushing and it was incredible (sooo much different than the coached pushing i had w/ my first vba2cs). i delivered him myself, as M and the mw's didnt realize he was coming! lol!! it was a wonderful water birth at home. he nursed immediately...yeh!!!


stats...9.12 lbs and 23 inches

there is soo much more but he's not even 5 hours old yet so i need to process it all. my BFF is bringing us food right now and i have to say i am starving!!!! ive already eaten once but feel like i could eat a horse....

I was just thinking about you yesterday! My midwife says she thinks I am going to be a 42 weeker. It is encouraging knowing about wonderful stories of people who get there and have great births!
