We're thinking about getting our guys - 5yo and 2yo - geotrax for christmas and I would love to hear your reviews of it.

We've had some since my son was 3. He never really was that into the remote controlled trains, but we set it up and play with the track/buildings all the time still. He's got the newish airplane stuff on his Christmas list and it looks pretty fun to me.

My oldest played with these from about age three to seven. I would recommend them.

We have had them since DS was about 2.5, and he is 4 now. He likes the remote control aspect a lot (we don't have many toys that take batteries, so he loves that they "do" something), but prefers to just drive them around the floor and not on the tracks. if they aren't placed on the tracks just right, they won't go and sometimes it is hard to tell if they are on right - which, to him, is really frustrating.

We have a bunch of Geotrax and both of my boys really enjoy making the tracks and driving the train around. My main complaint is that it goes through batteries like *crazy*!! So you might wanna take that into consideration.....

We have had them since my 4yo was 2, and my 8yo, 4yo, and almost 2yo all play with them. I highly recommend them, they are very versatile and even the little one can put tracks together.
