what can i make with cotton sweaters?

i have 2 i was going to make the kids pants but they are not quite big enough.

The sweaters are not too thick at all they arereally just a warm long sleeved shirt. they are 100 percent knit (not hand knit) cotton. I might end up making pants for my husbands nephew but id like other ideas first!

Im christmas crafting so ideas for any and all ages is great and household stuff too.

if you have a little girl you can easily make a jumper style dress.

You could make pillows.You could sew on or stencil some sort of decoration.
Or some sort of bag/purse.
A doll/stuffed creature?
A cozy for some sort of electronic device.
A skirt?
Doll bedding.
The outer layer of hot mitts.
A tea pot cozy.

Holiday stockings
eye pillows or dream pillows (from the sleeves... fill with rice and scented herbs)
throw pillows (using frot/back panel)
cut into squares and make a small lap quilt or car quilt
slippers
leg warmers/arm warmers/"baby legs"
pet toys (catnip mice)
gift bags (either round with drawstring, or rectangular "pocket" style)
scented trivet/hotpad (mulling spices make a nice holiday filling)
holiday calendar (a "pocket" for each day)
fabric ornaments (3d like balls, or flat cut outs)
patchwork scarf
