Sub Contractor and EIC Tax ?

hey mamas...if anyone can help me answer this i would so appreciate it!

i'm a sub contractor on my taxes...i want to be sure I qualify for the EIC this year....

is there a minimum income you have to make in order to get it...I was thinking it was 10K for some reason.

I definitely have to file as I have to pay all my taxes but does this change my ability to get the EIC in any way.

if you know, thank you!
