Does nursing while crystal testing other foods negate the results?

It seems like it would since it's probably testing the BM and not the other food but I just actually managed to crystal test a food while DD was nursing and I'm wondering if I should actually care about the results or not.

I have pondered a question similar to this... like if I have food in my mouth while I'm testing Taslyn... I think the answer is that we don't know for certain. But I tend to support the crystals answer if the substance to be intentionally tested is very close to the test site. Does that make sense? I would test however I could manage to do it... and record the results. Eventually you'll be able to test her asleep, and it will be interesting to compare the notes. Good luck!

answer to my original question, "yes"
she just failed gluten. i'm so bummed. she has passed it before but i think i started eating too much of it. however, GF still doesn't seem to impact her sleep at all - it still sucks. i'm going to start testing a handful of foods each night and see if i can come up with anything else. if not, it's on to a constitutional remedy and maybe a 3 day dose of melatonin. something's gotta give.

Oh no.

I need to start trying my crystal, oops- I mean rock, on DD while she's sleeping. Maybe that will work better than me trying to do her through me (if that made any sense.)

Yeah, I got lucky with an outstretched arm while sleeping. She didn't move for a long time so I had a good test spot.

So you put something into her hand, and then do the crystal over her wrist? I obviously have never tried this on DD. She is SUCH a light sleeper that I'm afraid I will wake her up. And whenever she wakes up, she thinks that nap (or nighttime) is over... regardless of what time it is or how long she's been sleeping.

No, I don't put the food in her hand because that would wake her up but I put it as close to her as possible (I actually am holding the food) and then hold the crystal over her wrist. I found it actually does work well in the dark night because I use a tiny nightlight to see what I'm doing and if she happens to stir I just turn it off really quick and pretend I'm sleeping too just in case.

I don't actually put the food into her hand. I put it as close to her hand as I dare!

Well that sounds much more doable.

I do the "quick! pretend you're sleeping!" routine ALL the time.
