Rumor[?]: We make enough vit K2 ourselves

so we don't need to go out of our way to eat it.

This is what my friend in Pharmacy school told me he was taught.
Can anyone point me in the direction of more information?

I'm having a hard time figuring out the right terms to do searches about it.

He's wrong. They used to think we made half of what we need (not all) but current research doesn't back that up. So we make less than we need.

I think the bigger problem is agreeing on how much people need. We can't decide for any other vitamin or mineral, so this one will probably be even harder to come to agreement on, given how little it is understood compared to something like calcium.
