Butt Hole!

: Ugh. Ds discovered his bottom hole the other day. And in my urgency to stop him from putting his finger up there, I said, "Fingers don't go up our butt hole!" I only said this twice. Then, he started saying, "butt hole!" and grinning while sticking his finger in his butt hole. Ugh. I've since changed to saying bottom hole, which of course I would have said in the first place if I had realized my little parrot would spit out "butt hole" every 10 minutes at the top of his lungs. I only said it twice! Gaw! What won't they repeat? Oh, I know! His name. : "butt hole!" is easier than "finn" apparently!

Ha ha ha! Sorry, I couldn't not reply after seeing the title...I thought it maybe had to do with Beavis and Butt Head or something. LOL!

I love your name, btw!

Hee. The fascination with the bum is universal. I was recently asked by my DD, "Mummy, how come you don't want to smell my fingers when I put them in my bum?"

: ds went through the exploring the bumm phase I never thought much of it or said anything but I can just hear him saying butt hole :

I've gotta say, the thread is even funnier in the context of your username.

oh and there's a whole host of words kids won't parrot. "please" "thankyou" "excuse me"

oh that's too funny!

my son didn't get the distinction between butt/butthole at first and for a week or so whenever I was changing my clothes or getting in the shower would proclaim "I see your butthole!"
um... excuse me, you DO NOT!

Hahaha!! That's so awful and hilarious. I can't wait until my son can talk. Or maybe I can, haha.
Also! I haven't even thought of him discovering his, uh, bottom hole and being fascinated by it. Now I have something to look forward to, oh boy.

Note to self, do not use the phrase "butt hole" in front of ds.

One time I dropped something, and without thinking I said "D@mn" out loud...for the rest of the day ds ran around throwing toys and shouting d@mn. We stayed home that day. If it gives you any hope- ds forgot his new favorite word by the next day.

I went out of the room for a couple minutes and came back in and my 3yo said "Mom you know what? My butt is warm" My response was "go wash your hands".

My dd is fascinated with her "butthole". She says it all the time. I try not to acknowledge it. My 4th grade humor thinks it's funny and I try my best not tp laugh. My mom taught it to her :

I guess it's better than what she said today in the car, though: "How ya doing, A-hole!"

She didn't say the word but just the Ahole. Now THAT word she learned form me and I laughed so hard I cried. Thankfully, she didn't say it again. I NEED to stop saying that when cursing at other drivers in the car!
