homemade pinata

Thread Starter
I made a pumpkin pinata tonight for DD's girl scout party tomorrow.

I used water & flour as the paste.. id found directions online, did several layers of paste & paper

now its decorated . but not completely dry..

it feels umm.. smooshy

Im scared it wont be stiff in the morning & when i pop the balloon to fill it , it'll cave in

I should have done this days ago..i always do stuff last minute

This happened to me last year.I set it in front of a fan overnight(I did get up to turn it once) and it dried okay

I've used a hair dryer to dry paper mache (just be careful not to get too close).

I was a wait until the last minute art student for my sculpture classes (I prefered painting).
