does this mean anything?

other than the fact that I'm third trimester pregnant LOL

thankfully it's not necessarily EVERY night but many nights I spend rolling from one hip to the other, one hip to the other.....to get away from the fact that the one I've been laying on HURTS.

and I can't lay on my back cause it's uncomfortable and this baby or the top of the uterus anyway has pushed everything out of its way so well, I LIKE breathing thanks.

and obviously tummy sleeping is out.

grrrrrr

and some mornings i end up getting up earlier than I'd like just cause I can't LAY anymore.

this happened with DD too though and she wasn't in any weird position I don't think.......

I've had hip pain at the end of my last 3 pregnancies. Never had it with the first 5. For me it hasn't had anything to do with the position of the baby. This baby was posterior, but the 2 before were LOA, lined up really well. I just chalk the hip pain up to being older and having more relaxin hormone surging in my system?? It usually goes away on its own a few weeks after delivery for me. My baby is 2 1/2wks old, and I still have it some but it's much better already.

I've started sleeping on the couch because of hip pain. The couch is softer than my bed so my hips don't hurt as much.

I have been sleeping on my back some because it is impossible to sleep on my right since I bruised two ribs. So, I prop two pillows under my knees and sleep for a while. Alternatively, I sleep on the couch (which is at the same angle as a recliner chair). I've been getting between 4 and 8 hours sleep with this alternating pattern, although it's annoying to shift from bed to couch every couple of hours. Hope you can find some relief.

Thats exactly what I do. Move to the couch. I sleep in bed as long as I can because sleep in bed seems to be more uninterupted. So somewhere between 1:30 and 4:30 I get up and move to the couch, which reclines.

, it will get better when the baby is born.

my hip pain has been getting progressively worse too last night was the first night that i had to get out of bed and head for the recliner. i dont imagine i'll get much in-bed time til i deliver now. i did get a few hours of good sleep in the chair though, in between bathroom trips of course
