Really, really, really fed up.

SPD is doing my nut, EDS is peeing me off, my weight gain is just more than I wanted by 14lbs, I have developed 2 oral abscesses, one just involving flesh and one involving a front tooth and the area under my nose, I am on antibiotics for them, I feel like crap because of them, I can't eat properly because of them, I just HURT and then I have gone and developed a sodding cold sore.

I am 38 weeks and 1 day pregnant and I just want this baby out, I want to heal.

If the antib's don't work I may be facig another oral surgery in the next couple of weeks. Its just so ruddy stressful (and antibiotics rarely work on my absceses, we are just hoping it controls the growth enough until after baby is born so that we can get in there and do some real work).

Whats really not helping is other peoples comments to me (you know, strangers and such) about how fed up I must be now blah blah blah. If only they knew. Its not that I am fed up with the pregnancy but a) my bodies reaction to it and b)these oral problems I have developed in the past couple of weeks.

Come on baby! Hury up!!!!!!!!!!!

I went 3 weeks over with my last so I feel kinda like giving up right now.

There is some good news though, one of the abscesses popped last night so its just the difficult one to go and this damned cold sore. Unfortunutely the difficult abscess seems to be growing despoite antibiotics, I am now on day 4 and was hoping to see some reduction.

Thanks for your thoughts!

you have only gained 14 lbs? that's really a small gain mama, i have gained 35 lbs at 35 weeks! but tooth problems are awful durong pregnancy especially, i am so sad for you to be suffering from that. i would suggest going for the surgery so you don't have to deal with it with a newborn. i just had a wisdom tooth extraction with only local anesthesia at 32 weeks and it went ok.
