Maybe they were just being "Disney discreet"

We head out tomorrow and the cruise leaves on Sunday. I'll update when I get back and let everyone know how it all went.

I wouldn't worry about Disney at all, especially the cruise line. Do your thang.

Have fun on your cruise!!

Reason you might not have seen anyone is because Disney does have really nice nursing rooms you can use. I could see a lot of people being more comfortable nursing in there than in the park.

ITA! I lived in FL for years and bf my kiddos all over the theme parks in Orlando/Tampa. I am not a mama who typically hides while bf my child, but when it is super hot, the nice air conditioned bf rooms are terrific

I live in FL and we have great bf laws (except for the fact that there are no penalties for people who harass BFing moms).

I have nursed all over all of the Disney parks discreetly and not discreetly. I would wager a guess that the Disney employees have had some training in "dealiing with BF. Could you imagine what would happen if all BFing moms decided to boycott Disney because a mom was harassed? I don't think Disney would allow something like that.

Cruises are different though, but I wouldn't change my habits if I were on a cruise.

How'd it go?

Im a big cruiser and my kids have been on a lot of cruises and I nursed them from the age of 4 months to 5 years old on many a cruise. My older nurser, like your nurser only nursed before naps and bedtiime around 2-5 years, however, on a cruise our up and around with no real routine and Ive nursed her at the pool, on the beaches in port and on a sailboat.

I find people in the island countries to be very toleratant of breastfeeding and really don't even notice or comment on it.
