My DS 6 is having a hard time....

In a week's time, his teacher had her baby and is on maternity leave so he has to get used to sub teacher, his daddy left for a week, then my parents come over from europe for 2 weeks, the baby i used to babysit isn't here anymore because I quit the babysitting job and he loved her.

Do you think he s acting out because of too many changes? I know i dont like changes, I can just imagine how hard it is on him.

He has been talking back, having tantrums, being mean to peple. And that isn't like him at all. Ofcourse he hs his moments, but not everyday like this.

I want to help him so much, but he has a hard time telling me what is going on because he probably doesn't understand it.

My parents go back to Holland thursday. Maybe that will settle things down. Too many things going on.

I just don't know what to do.

Anyone have kids that don't do well with changes? Any advice?

It hurts to see my son like this. He seems so frusturated!

It does sound like a lot of changes. My ds is also different around grandparents and of course I tend to feel extra judgmental or look somewhat differently of everyone's behaviors with them around. I also tend to find that ds does better with grandparents when I am not around....but he is super close to them and thus they have their own relationship worked out.

Lots of hugs.....lots of exercise might also be good for your son to help him work through stuff.
