She wasn't exposed to dairy or soy (except soybean oil or soy lecithin which I thought she didn't have a problem with). First she spit up undigested milk. Then a few minutes later came a small amount of partially digested milk mixed with yellow globs or mucus. Is this nasal drip (I have a lot of nasal drip) or stomach bile? She hasn't had anything else for a long time (only had a few drops of mylicon and winnie the pooh brand type of gripe water maybe a week ago).

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

First of all, if it's a soy intolerance, it's usually to all parts of the soy. When it's a soy allergy, a lot of times they can tolerate soy lecithin and soybean oil. I don't know why that is, just seems to be the case.
Second of all, if you have a lot of mucous from post nasal drip, she wouldn't get that through breast milk (she could be creating it herself though).
My 2 week old threw up yellow goo, and I called the doctor. I brought him in, and the doctor said (whom I don't see anymore) "it's perfectly normal for a baby to throw up bile." (since I already had a daughter who had never thrown up bile, and also didn't throw up during every meal, I knew he was a moron). When I went off dairy, the bile (and the vomiting) went away. I'd take out all the milk/soy (and make sure that there's no trace of it in anything) and see if it goes away. Are you sure that you didn't get any milk in anything? That would be my first guess.

My son has a milk intolerance (it might be an allergy, we still have to get him tested) and the three times he's ever had cow milk, he's thrown up yellow stuff. I'm not really sure what it is. It might be mucus, but then I also thought it might be either fat from the milk or stomach acid and stuff from where he tried to digest it.
