Overwhelmed--recommend a side-snap/fitted pattern for a newbie?

My mother wants to make my son some cloth diapers and/or diaper covers thsi winter. She is very baffled by how much CDing has changed she she was doing it in the 70s and doesn't get all the lingo. She wants me to send her a pattern for a cover I like so she can start sewing. I know I want something with side-snaps, and possibly some fitteds, but I don't know what would be easiest for her.

I looked through the stickies here but found my head swimming after a while. Does anyone have a recommendation for easy patterns for fitteds and/or side-snappinig covers for a newbie to CD making?

Thanks so much. :

The Darling Diapers pattern is great for a newbie. It has pages and pages of instructions with lots of pictures. I also really like the Very Baby patterns, I think the VB fitted was my first paid pattern and it was easy to understand and use.

Thanks so much for your reply! I'm passing along the links you shared.

I'm happy to hear of any other resources out there.
