X Posted- wool longies with footies pattern?

ISO a pattern to knit longies with footies.

I found some to purchase but I'd like to make my own.

Do you all think that I should just knit some longies and then switch to a different colored yarna nd then knit some socks/booties? Would it work well? I'm still quite the novice but I'm just diving right in

Little Turtle Knits original longies pattern (not the Picky Pants one) has an option for footies I believe...

Yes, and they're super cute, little elf-pointed feet, though you could do them with a regular toe.

I think LTK patterns are typically worth every penny, but if you want to dive right in then yeah, knit any top-down longies and then add feet/booties. IIRC, there have been some discussion about this on the wool_soaker_group and the advice was to taper the leg at the ankle.

ya know, I belong to that yahoo group but just never think to visit there.
