Hi there,

For those of you with a home business -- how do you create your website shopping cart? I use frontpage 2002 and am baffled about how to set up a shopping cart. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

A shopping cart is a seperate piece of software. There are free ones out there (e.g. Zencart Opencart, etc.) and one's you pay for (Lite Commerce and it's big brother X-Cart, etc.). For my website, we used Zencart so the shopping cart was free and then we bought a template/skin to make it look nicer.

Also, don't overlook www.Mals-e.com. I've been pretty happy with it for the last year.

Thanks! Is it a free service?

Has anyone ever used the paypal buttons? They are also free (aside from the percentage you pay to paypal for purchases).

I figured those out last night and it was pretty easy.

Yes, it's free, but you can upgrade to premium for more features (which is still realy cheap).

you should first figure out which hosting company to host your site. your hosting company offers free shopping cart. i'm with pappashop and they use mals-e shopping cart. it's all integrated already. It's free... but i upgraded mine to premium which is still very good price.

And they don't offer that...
