Just something to think about....

Have you ever noticed that according to the CDC's own data..... 36,000 people die from the flu every year. That is EVERY year.

For the past 23 years, the CDC says 36,000 people died each and every year, so get your flu shot so we can change that. So MILLIONS of sheeple line up, get shot and STILL 36,000 die.

Sounds like it's really working for them huh?

And did you know that the CDC counts elderly, immunocompromised people who 'die from natural causes' in their alleged 36,000???

Makes you think.

Or at least it should.

Even the Pink Book has that 36,000 die each year from the flu. The amazing thing is IMO that its mostly those who are 65+.

The 36,000 is an estimate. That is why the number is so static and gets trotted out every year. It is definitely not based on accurate sampling of how many people get the flu and how many people die from the flu.

However, I think having the same number every year might start backfiring. If enough people notice. So spread the word <evil grin>

I ready the 2003 JAMA article and also a 2005 BMJ critique of the CDC's "data" - the 36,000 deaths is a computer model-based estimate of flu-associated deaths per year. The lead author even admits they don't think association necessarily equals causation. They have yet to correct the media from reporting this error. Its all on purpose and its a bunch of BS.

Friend: Oh my gosh, my kids almost died from the flu!


Me: Really what happened?

Friend: Well, my kids got the flu and they were sick and vomiting for 3 days.

Me: okay....??

Friend: So my 6yo stopped talking and I knew something was wrong so I took them both to the ER. They had to have IV drips. The DR said they were severely dehydrated and semi-comatose! You HAVE to get the flu vaccine or you could die!

Me: (pained look). Didn't you try to give them water or even something tempting like soda/juice?
