My baby girl is waking up at ~1am every night for the last week but has trouble nursing. She only seems to want to chew on the nipple. Her latch is crummy. Sometimes I can just drag her into our bed from her adjacent bed and she'll settle down and go back to sleep, so I don't think she's actually hungry. When she wakes up at 3-4am she is definitely hungry then and feeds like a champ without pain. But at 1am she's hurting me and it makes me mad, and then I'm sad because I'm mad at my poor baby who is upset.

I've tried really getting her to wake up and it doesn't seem to make a difference. I've tried changing her diaper. She won't chew on my finger, a teething toy or a wet wash cloth which she often likes at other times during the day for teething. Hyland's tablets don't seem to really help either. Lately it just takes 45 minutes of her crying in my arms and me trying to give her something to knaw on/trying to offer the breast again, doing all of the above, until she'll just go back to sleep. Last night she chewed on the mouthguard part of a soothies pacifier for a while. She spits it out and chews on the edge, looking at me like I put it in wrong

She's almost 6 months, I assume it could be growth spurt fussiness? or teething? Anyone commiserate or have any suggestions?

She also has a yeast infection now in her diaper area, from stupid antibiotics from an ear infection. Does that mean she has thrush and I might too? (ETA: I don't see anything white in her mouth)
