The Northern Vermont Babywearers, Babywearers of Central Vermont and Bebop Baby Shop in Essex Junction will be celebrating International Babywearing Week with a variety of activities on Saturday, November 15th. We will start at Bebop (167 Pearl Street) with a Babywearing Walk down Pearl Street at 10am, followed by demonstrations of various types of carriers (Pouches at 10:30, Wraps at 11, Mei Tais at 11:30 and Ring Slings at noon). Meanwhile, there will be a “Sling Swap” upstairs at Bebop, allowing moms and dads to try out babywearing with gently used carriers available for purchase. Parents can drop off their used carriers and slings at Bebop the week of November 5th- 11th for credit to be used in the “Sling Swap” or for cash.
In Montpelier, join the Babywearers of Central VT, for a babywearing meet-up on Thursday, November 13th at the Kellogg-Hubbard library, a Babywearing Walk through downtown (meet outside the children's library at 10:45am) on Friday, November 14th and Babywearing Demos at Langdon Street Cafe on Monday, November 17th (details to follow).
