OK, I started my advent calendar. Better late then never right?! I don't have all of the materials since they are recycled but, I figure I'll make the days as we go along.

For mine I am using old jar lids with flat magnets on back and then decorating them with different things like scrap fabric, cut out pictures from old X-mas wrapping paper/To: From: tags/old X-mas cards, glitter, etc. Hopefully I'll be able to find a cookie sheet large enough to hold them or I could just put them on the fridge.

I'll post pics when I get a little further as I'm still kind of eyeing what looks best together, kwim?

My sister had a good idea (I don't know if it was hers or she saw it somewhere):

Save your baby's socks, and make a clothesline and clothespin advent with you baby's baby socks. That would be super cute.
