Jasper is here!

Just updating from the hospital so this will be short- I will write his full birth story later.
He was born on Saturday morning after 30 hours of labor and a near death experience I don't feel up to writing about just now. We almost lost him but he came out fine and his apgars were 9.
We are still in the hospital, will be for several more days. I am on pain meds and working on nearly zero sleep but we feel blessed and we are smitten with him .
Oh yeah, he is not the big baby the one midwife predicted- he is teeny- weighed 6.6 and 20 inches long. Now he weighs around 5.11 but my milk has just come in so he will pick up. He eats like a pro and is a real sweetie.
