Re: Shaving - I finally shaved my legs the other day after about two months of slacking off. I'm not huge by any means, but my torso just isn't very bendy anymore - stuff gets stuck up under my ribs and I can't breathe! It was definitely a challenge and I warned DH that he may have to do it next time. As for the upholstery... it was a little out of control as well, so I used DH's beard trimmer to clean it up.
I was going to take a razor to it at the same time as I did the legs, but realized I couldn't contort myself so I could really see what I was doing, and I'm not that brave. Plus I had visions of adding the discomfort of ingrown hairs to my list of complaints and figured nah... screw it. DH said the trim was good enough, anyway. Whew!
As for various and sundry other complaints - my posture has completely changed. I'm normally a big sloucher, but not anymore - like I said, my torso isn't bendy at all. I feel like there is absolutely nowhere to go but OUT at this point - all the space from ribs to pelvis is very much occupied. I have had a few episodes of difficulty breathing, and I generally wake up at least once per night having to majorly adjust the way I'm sleeping because it's putting too much pressure somewhere.
I just had to clean lipstick up off the carpet courtesy of my Labrador retriever... About ten minutes of cleaning was enough to put me down for the count. I don't know what the deal is today but I have NO energy, feel like I can barely breathe, and feel like my abdomen weighs 100lbs. *thud* I'm back in bed and don't really intend to attempt round 2.
