I just wanted to say how much I love my Peds

DS has not been in since his 1 month appt but I did take him in for a 1 year check-up. The nurse was asking all of the usual questions and got to "Any reactions to his vaccinations?" I responded the he hadn't had any vaxes. That was it....no word from the doc about them or if we were going to do them, no form to sign, nothing! :

That is how it should be for everyone! Just state your choice and go on with the visit!

Same here. We did the 1 year appt...mostly to protect my butt. Our usual ped (big into alternative medicine, etc.) wasn't available so I had to see one of the conventional peds. I was so pleasantly surprised by him though. He said,

"Still holding off on vaxes?"
"Yes."
"We usually do the TB test at 9 months, so we'll do it now --"
"No thanks."
"Okay."

He was so mild. I was really happy. The practice is a factory and the wait is forever, but it's worth it not to be hassled about vaxes.
