So what's up this week with everyone?
I'm so busy at work! I'm running reports for auditors, so I'm on MDC while I wait for them

I'm debating about telling my boss I'm pg if I see her today or have an opportunity. It's so busy here, OT needed, and I want her to know that I with fatigue, I can only do so much but am trying.

You?

I'm tired and have a headache. I ran a bunch of errands this afternoon; not sure why the headache, but egads, I wish it would go away.

"Luckily" DS's new Netflix DVD showed up today, so he's occupied. :

I went to the state fair yesterday and came home feeling like poo! I feel better today but I was sneezing every 5 seconds last night. My throat and nose were burning. I couldn't ride anything obviously so I spent the whole time standing around holding other people's stuff and then feeling crappy on top of it was so blahhhh. No plans for the rest of the week other than grocery shopping today.

I'm exactly 10 weeks today. Hope everyone is doing well!

Tired here also. Going out to dinner with friends tonight but I don't even want to get in the shower. I watched dd's birth today and it was really good to see. She watched it with me and kept saying whats wrong mommy. It was cute. I didnt push at all, my body evicted her with me as the innocent bystander, lol.

I had my RE appt. today had another u/s baby is measuring great 9 weeks 2 days and the heartbeat was going strong about 170 bpm. I really hate all this close monitoring and u/s's but due to having PCOS and a luteal phase defect I am at and increased risk of miscarrying. I have to continue seeing the RE until I am 12 weeks and can stop taking the progesterone suppositories then. I do have my first midwife appt. in the morning and I am so excited to finally be dealing with a care provider who shares my view of maternal health and pregnancy.
I am still battling with my insurance company who do not cover any midwife care!?! As of right now they will only pay 60% due to out of network status. I'm working on appealing this and hopefully they will cover 80% of the midwife and birth center charges. Grrr....I hate insurance companies.
I'm starting to feel a bit better and can eat more and more each day. I am still having strange cravings and aversions. I can't wait for the second trimester!!!!! I hope everyone is doing well

Not too much, I'm finding that I'm able to get the most done in the mornings so I'm concentrating on housework during that time. DH is busy with charity softball and work stuff all week so I'm pretty much on my own during the week nights.

Iana - I totally sympathize with being the innocent bystander during pushing. We have bits and pieces of DS's labor filmed but not the actual birth, I made DH shut the camera off at that point because I didn't want him concentrating on the video camera instead of the birth itself. This time around I want to set the video camera up somewhere so we can get it on film.

Today is the first day in about ten days that I'm not totally miserable. I don't feel good, but I feel okay-ish. So that's good. Seriously, my nausea has been so so so so so bad. I cried my eyes out this weekend over it. I just haven't been able to enjoy anything or feel human. It's totally sucked. My poor, but incredibly wonderful husband, has done everything for the past two weeks, all of the parenting, cleaning, shopping, etc. The only thing I've been capable of is going to work. So, I'm carrying tons of mother guilt and partner guilt. DH keeps telling me, "You're making a baby! It's okay! Just take care of yourself." Oh, I love him so much!

So, hopefully today is a signal that I'm going to start moving away from feeling so ill. Fingers crossed. We could ALL use a break from sicky, pregger mama.

On another note, a maternity dress that I ordered a while ago finally showed up today. It's fairly cute and really comfy and was half off. So yay!

I almost threw up last night for the first time (excepting the two times I almost threw up cleaning up dog diarrhea, but that was provoked). What's up with that? I'm 9 weeks 2 days and was hoping the nausea would ease up soon, not get worse. I'm beginning to look forward to eating normal food again although not enough to actually try it. The exhaustion is easing up a bit, though--I've been able to do some exercise lately. For now, just glad I have very few things I actually need to accomplish. Except I really need to finish transferring the car/driver's license to the new state so that I can get a library card so that I can get a good book to read instead of spending my days surfing the internet.

Oh that is cute! I like it.

Thats dress is adorable Shonahsmom!! I have been doing some maternity shopping at Old Navy and Target (online) You can't beat tops for 2-3 dollars and skirts for 4.99!

I am making a vow that I will do yoga after I put my son to bed at night. Even if I have to steal the tv away from my dh for a half hour. I need to get my body moving somehow! Aerobic activity sounds reallllly unappealing right now.

I've got my first midwife apt. tomorrow, I'm so nervous about it and hoping that she can find the heartbeat with doppler even though it will be a bit early. Still sick sick sick. That's about it here.

Cute dress, perfect fall outfit with a pair of leggings or tights!

I need to get some maternity shirts next week. I really don't have any fall/winter clothing because of losing weight and giving most of it away, I could just go with longer/tunic-length shirts for the time being but I might as well get some maternity shirts that I can use for a while.

lotus.blossom - I need to start my yoga too, what dvd's do you like? My favorite is "Prenatal Yoga with Shiva Rea"

Just work work work here. I'm so exhausted because I can't seem to fall asleep. My mind will not shut up at night. Once I finally fall asleep, I can't seem to make myself wake up on time, because I'm still tired. I HATE waking up tired. So yeah, halfway through the work day, I'm basically falling asleep at the computer. And then STILL can't fall asleep in bed at night.

I have no maternity clothes yet. I have no noticeable bump and all shirts still fit perfectly. Some pants are a no-go, but most I just unbutton while I'm sitting.

I'm still really awkward with food and smells.

In happy news, I will be in the 2nd trimester tomorrow! : :

I amhaving a horrible time w/ headaches too. I feel like my eyeball is being pushed out of myhead, so I guess mine is sinus related.

Ugh I remember my battle after DD1 was in NICU. The hospital rented out its NICU to another practice (makes sense of that?!) And that group from another state had let their enrollment with my ins carrier lapse. IT WAS INFURIATING and time consuming. Good luck!

Your post made me think of DD1, I threw up yesterday and DH was telling her "mama is sick" so the rest of the day she was "sick" I was "sick" pretty much everything and one was "sick"

We are leaving for our first vacation in 4 years tomorrow! I'm excited and worried! I hope DDs deal with being in the car for a long time better than I am imagining!

It's nice to hear that your children seem to sympathize with your throwing up...Casimir laughed at me, last time I really wretched...then, he said, "Do dat again, mama..."

Things have been okay, here. I have no will to do anything, ever...and I am looking forward to that being OVER. Today, thinking about dinner was the biggest challenge I felt like I had ever faced, ever in my life...we ended up eating garnet yam oven fries, scrambled eggs and cranberry-applesauce...the stuff I canned last week.

I went cranberry picking again, today...gots a lot more berries! But, when I got home I was complete whipped...felt like I needed to stay on the counch forever...so little energy and so little will...

This morning as I was laying in bed I decided to palpate and HOLY GROWTH SPURT! My fundal height is about a finger width below my belly button right now and noticeably larger on the left side, babe must favor that side I guess.

My inability to do anything but sit on the couch seems to hit around 3pm while DS is taking a nap. I feel great up until that point and can get some stuff done, but after that I'm just drained. Thank goodness the weekend is almost here.

I really wish I could feel my fundus! I'm so worried that it means something is wrong. Probably it just means I'm too fat, and don't really know what I'm feeling for or where, but still. Is it easier to palpate while lying down?
Mama Rana - Definitely easier when laying down, and with a full bladder also since that will help push it forward enough for you to feel. My abdominal muscles split with DS and still aren't entirely normal so that makes feeling down the middle difficult, but if I take both hands and palpate on the sides I can make out the shape much easier and find the top.
