Hi I am new to this board
I have a lot going on right now, and just needed to jump over here to get some good vibes and some info on something GOOD!
DH and I want to have our next child come from adoption, but we are reeeaaallly not sure where to start. I mean, there are just so many options, agencies, etc.....how do you make a decision which way to go? Where is the 'starting' point?
Help!
Thanks:

congrats!

i personally (now i live in Canada) think the best place to start is Local Foster care service and see what their needs are and how quickly they could help you get a home study. It is different in many states from what i have seen that most kids are adopted to their foster care parents or friends of foster care parents.(it's who you know not what you know)

After that it would depend on you budget if you go private or international. Also could you love an older child? there are many and maybe even sibling groups?

oh and to make sure this is the right decision for you. Try reading Dear Birthmom. It opens the eyes to the other side of this story.
