Wow, trying to remember. . .
#1--the next day, to the grocery store to pick up a few items and a prescription.
#2--I don't remember exactly. But pretty soon after I got home. . . we had severe latch issues and I ended up going to the hospital lactation clinic almost every day for 7 or 8 days straight. And then she was readmitted to the hospital at 1 week for fluids and lights (Bili levels got to 20+ and she was lethargic and dehydrated despite my best efforts to get food into her).
#3--(emergency c-section). We actually stopped at the store on the way home to fill an Rx and pick up a couple of things. I was 3 days pp at that point and it was TOO MUCH! I don't think I went out again until day 6 for baby's follow-up with the doc. I'm definitely not "up and about" as much and as early as I was with my other two. At 3 1/2 weeks pp, I can still only manage short trips out of the house and that's with DH or my mom helping me with baby/older kids.
